Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Beat the butter and sugars until fluffy, then beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in the flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop rounded tablespoons onto the sheets and bake 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
